In order to be eligible to win two complimentary tickets to the Elite Eight Reception, all votes must be submitted during one of the formal rounds of voting:
Round 1: Opens May 9 at 9:00am, closes May 20 at 5:00pm
Round 2: Opens May 23 at 9:00am, closes June 3 at 5:00pm
Round 3: Opens June 6 at 9:00am, closes June 10 at 5:00pm
Final Round: Opens June 13 at 9:00am, closes June 17 at 5:00pm
A total of ten (10) winners will be chosen at random out of all qualified entrants to receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the Elite Eight Reception, June 23, 2016. Tickets have no cash value and do not provide for any additional accommodations, such as transportation to/from the event, or Nationals Park concessions outside the Reception. Ticket to the Congressional Baseball Game must be purchased separately.
Winners will be notified via email Monday, June 20. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited, taxed or otherwise restricted. Entrants must be over the age of 18 and must provide a valid e-mail address.
Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, address (city and state), likeness, photo and any statements made by the winner regarding the promotion for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or consideration except where prohibited by law.
CQ Roll Call (“Sponsor”) is not responsible for any failure of any electronic equipment, computer transmissions and/ or network connections, for any inaccuracies in information that may be used in the contest, or for any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of entries, including data entered by entrants. Sponsor reserves the right to discontinue the contest at any time, in which event only entries received prior to that date will be considered. Entrants agree to release and hold harmless the sponsor and its subsidiaries, and each of their respective directors, employees, agents and successors from any damage, injury, death or other liability that may arise from entrant’s participation in the contest or the awarding, acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. All entrants agree that the contest shall be governed by, construed and interpreted in accordance with the law of the United States and that any dispute with respect to the contest shall be resolved in either the federal or state courts located in Washington, D.C., without giving effect to conflict-of-law principles thereof. Employees of the Economist Group and their families are not eligible to enter.
